We offer education and hands-on training in regenerative agriculture to American combat veterans. Our program provides a path to pride, fulfillment, and sustainable income—along with a strong sense of community, contribution, and purpose.

The Veterans Homestead Project began when the operator of Breen Mesa Farm started hosting weekly meetings for the Combat Veteran PTSD Social Club. It was a way to help fellow veterans find purpose and support. Today, Breen Mesa Farm serves as the project’s main training facility.

The program gives veterans a chance to reconnect with the soil, animals, and plants in a healing, regenerative way—helping support their transition back to civilian life. Veterans Homestead Project also offers training in compassionate communication and serves as a Regional Information Center, connecting veterans with other support programs designed specifically for them.
